We live in an amazing and wonderful time, when new technologies are bursting into our everyday life at a breathtaking speed, rapidly transforming what seemed impossible into reality. Erich Krause launches the new U-series retractable pen - a sports car in the world of stationery. The U-series pens take softness and speed of writing to a completely new level, which seemed unattainable before.

One of the tasks of Erich Krause was to create maximum comfort while using the pen. The correct position of the fingers when writing prevents fatigue, forms a positive emotional background, avoids stress: the pen should be held between the thumb and forefinger, the middle one supports the pen from below.

The creators of the U-series have achieved a truly ideal balance of shape, width, length and weight. The triangular shape of the U-series pens guides the fingers into the correct position, helping to get beautiful handwriting. The designers paid special attention to the diameter of the barrel and the optimal radius of rounding of the edges, so that the handle was comfortable to hold for both children and adults. The weight of the pen is balanced so precisely that the hand does not get tired from long writing. The comfortable profiled grip zone of the U-208 model prevents fingers from slipping. Model U-209 is equipped with a soft thermoplastic elastomer grip, which significantly reduces the strain on the arm.

U-series pens use UltraGlide technology, a combination of ultra-low viscosity inks and a 6-channel 1.0mm ball tip needle assembly. The nib ball is made of heavy-duty tungsten carbide, which is housed in a nickel-silver alloy body. These tip features make the pen more durable to use; ensured uniform line width during writing and increased durability. Ultra-low viscosity inks provide uniform, continuous, controlled ink flow. The U-series pens write smoothly for the ultimate writing experience effortlessly. The pen glides easily on the paper, there is no tension in the arm even during prolonged continuous writing.

The U-series pens are extremely neat. Ink does not build up on the nib, preventing paper contamination and blotting. The fast drying speed reduces ink penetration into the paper, avoiding back-side prints.
